Dream Farm Commons is an artist-run exhibition space based in Oakland. As their graphic design Intern, they gave me the chance to not only provide a good variety of both digital and printed design, but also lead important projects, such as their Future Emergent Catalogue, and manage their website, their email marketing platform through MailChimp, and their online holiday shop.

Dream Farm Commons is an artist-run exhibition space based in Oakland. As their graphic design Intern, they gave me the chance to not only provide a good variety of both digital and printed design, but also lead important projects, such as their Future Emergent Catalogue, and manage their website, their email marketing platform through MailChimp, and their online holiday shop.
The Future Emergent catalogue was the biggest project I was part of while at Dream Farm.
Towards the start of the planning stage, my only other design partner left the gallery and I had to take over and see to the completion of the book. It was a bit overwhelming to unexpectedly lead such a significant project. It was though, awesome to not only have the opportunity to connect with all of the artists' work, but to also collaborate closely with the gallery's owner and administration to ensure the best product was achieved.
Another important portion of what I did with Dream Farm Commons was plan and produce social media posts for a number of the hosted exhibitions. Adapting my designs to the flavor of each artist's style was an invaluable experience that opened my eyes to the range of design I can produce.
