RCP Schools
Richmond College Prep is a middle school based in Richmond. With RCP, I considerably expanded my range as a designer. I created and produced jerseys for the basketball, soccer and volleyball teams, redesigned their logo, made printed products such as business cards, made their first ever yearbook, established multiple classes such as Graphic design and Illustration, designed as well as managed their After school website and participated in the redesign of their main site.

The RCP Yearbook was one of the most testing assignments I've been given to this day. Second half of the school year, I was unexpectedly designated as the leader of this project. Knowing how significant this project was for our community, I decided to bring it to fruition despite the close deadline and obstacles. On top of creating, designing, and editing the book, I scheduled and handled the many communications, meetings and photo shoots needed to finish it on time. I pushed myself to work outside my given expectations and comfort zone and not only finished the project on time, but also discover new personal limits on the way.
Seeing the smiles on our students' faces, especially the graduating class, as they gathered signatures and flipped through memories in their yearbooks reminded me of why I decided to study design. Seeing my work bring forth positive feelings and actions, inspires me to design with increasing consideration and impact.
